About This Course
At the end of the 3 days' course, participants will have the following knowledge and application skills to perform the following at the workplace:
a. Conduct food safety and hygiene checks.
b. Identify hygiene lapses and manage non-conformances.
c. Implement food safety and hygiene policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation of pre-requisite programmes and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)-based Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Food Services Sector.
The program will cover a range of topics including audit on: a. Food safety practices. b. Food safety regulatory requirements. c. Types of pre-requisite programmes implemented in food establishments (food manufacturing and food service sectors). d. Methods used to conduct food safety and hygiene inspection/check. e. Food safety and hygiene lapses and corrective actions. f. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles and Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

• At least 16 years old.
• At least 1 GCE 'N' Level Pass.
• Able to speak, listen, write, and read basic English or Mandarin Chinese.
• No prior work experience required.
