About This Course

Orofacial pain is frequently challenging to manage because the subject is poorly understood. At the same time, the changes that have occurred in the related fields over the previous 20 to 30 years were siloed and not well researched, making it a confusing topic.

With the current understanding about Orofacial Pain, a comprehensive presentation will equip the course attendees with the working knowledge of the basic and clinical science of general and orofacial pain. This allows them to develop competency in performing a thorough assessment of patients, including history taking and physical examination, recognising the related co-morbidities, and the formulation of a management plan.

What You'll Learn

Pain is the main reason that patients seeks care. This course aims to improve the understanding of Pain in the Orofacial Region, allowing the oral healthcare professionals to better manage the patients' concerns. This will improve the quality of care for the population.
