About This Course
On completion of the module, the students should be able to:
1. understand the fundamentals of a single-loop feedback control system.
2. design a generic Electronic PID (Proportional, Integral and Derivative) Analogue Controller and its peripherals such as Infrared Distance/Height Sensor, PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) Servo Motor Driver, etc.
3. handle essential workshop tools, practical and virtual electronic measuring equipment through hands-on project, test and measurement practice, laboratory and computer simulation.
4. acquire basic soldering skills through electronic circuits assemblies.
5. communicate through laboratory report and worksheets.
