Project on Communication and Health Coaching
About This Course
The student-led project equips students with advanced communication and health coaching skills.
Students will be required to apply theoretical frameworks and evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing. The focus will be on the health behavior change strategies used for clients to manage chronic diseases and mental health.
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
a. Relevant local Polytechnic Diploma or University Degree of any discipline related to healthcare; or
b. Relevant academic qualification includes Diplomas or Degrees in any other fields, and
• have relevant working experience in healthcare for at least 2 years; and/or
• obtained the Certificate in Transitional Care from SingHealth Academy.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least five (5) years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test.
