About This Course

Creating an inclusive (swimming) learning environment is an important coaching aspect in today�s swim coaching practices. The aim of this course is to help the participants gain better self-awareness of their current swim coaching practices and learn how to coach better by shifting their attitudes in developing a safe and trusted relationship with learners through deeper understanding of their diverse learning needs.

What You'll Learn

The practical session (wet session) in this course is structured to allow participants to try out their lesson plan with their fellow participants, be guided by the facilitator and reviewed by peers. Through the practical session, participants will learn how to handle learners with diverse learning needs when they are transiting into the swimming environment in a safe and secured manner.
