About This Course
This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Security Sector.
Upon completion of the course, learners would be able to obtain & record surveillance information accurately using appropriate surveillance equipment in accordance with relevant legal & organizational requirements. Officers would also be able to Perform remote access surveillance functions using security software programmed & equipment such as CCTV, Computers, Recorders & Monitor.

Thus, the sequencing of the learning units will follow the daily routine of a Senior Security Officer, which includes starting from
1) LU1: Operate Remote Surveillance
2) LU2: Identify abnormal and suspicious behaviours
3) LU3: Analyse and Report Abnormal Behaviours
4) LU4: Escalate and Conclusion of Remote surveillance Operations
Entry Requirements
• Job roles and occupations: existing and aspiring security officers
• Assumed attitudes, skills, knowledge: basic understanding of the organisation’s core values, service offering and SOPs, sense of duty, responsibility and discipline on the job
• Physical and medical requirement: able-bodied to work as a Security Officer and not colour-blind or hearing impaired
• Age and work experience: between 25 years old and above with a basic orientation towards providing security services; able to apply knowledge of basic workplace safety and health
• Education: at least primary school education
