About This Course
• Explain and apply the principles of chemistry, biostatistics and modern biology (inclusive of cell functioning, microbiology, immunology)
• Demonstrate an understanding of safe practices to be applied in veterinary clinics and other environments (e.g. laboratories)
• Demonstrate laboratory and, analytical skills, as well as techniques in veterinary laboratory diagnostics
• Demonstrate an understanding and the skills on the proper emergency response and care of the critical patient.
• Demonstrate and understanding of handling and management of animals.
• Demonstrate sound foundation and practicals skills in advanced anaesthesia.
• Demonstrate sound understanding of imaging diagnostic techniques and concepts
• Demonstrate an understanding on specialised veterinary nursing animal care and treatment
