Modular Certificate in Software Development II
About This Course
This is the third modular certificate that is intended to equip students with the requisite concepts and theories on the subsequent phases after the development phase in a software development lifecycle. Security as well as testing are among the key areas to focused on while rapid app development is one alternative approach for fast development turnaround time.

Entry Requirements
O Levels
At least three (3) ‘O’ Level passes in the following subjects:
o English Language (EL1 or EL2) Grade 1 – 7
o Any Science subject Grade 1 – 6
o Any one (1) relevant subject subject Grade 1 – 6 *
And at least one (1) year relevant work experience
NITEC
• GPA ≥ 3.5
OR
• GPA ≥ 3.0 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Higher NITEC
• GPA ≥ 2.0
OR
• GPA ≥ 1.5 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least two (2) years of relevant working
experience
* Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) (Level ≥ 6) may be accepted as equiv
alent GCE ‘O’ Level English Language and Mathematics requirements.
