Modular Certificate in Software Development I
About This Course
This is the second modular certificate that is intended to equip students with the requisite concepts and theories on the development of web and mobile solutions. From front end to back end, the students will be exposed to a full software stack as well as platforms that are current in software development.

This Modular Certificate is conducted by Singapore Polytechnic.
Entry Requirements
O Levels
At least three (3) ‘O’ Level passes in the following subjects:
o English Language (EL1 or EL2) Grade 1 – 7
o Any Science subject Grade 1 – 6
o Any one (1) relevant subject subject Grade 1 – 6 *
And at least one (1) year relevant work experience
NITEC
• GPA ≥ 3.5
OR
• GPA ≥ 3.0 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Higher NITEC
• GPA ≥ 2.0
OR
• GPA ≥ 1.5 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least two (2) years of relevant working
experience
* Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) (Level ≥ 6) may be accepted as equiv
alent GCE ‘O’ Level English Language and Mathematics requirements.
