Introduction to Robotics
About This Course
This course empowers learners with the knowledge and skills to select, design, and deploy a robot to perform a pick-and-place operation. This is a 3-day program.
Day 1 provides you with the foundational knowledge of robotics, including different types of robots, applications of robots across different industries, and how to select a robot based on users' requirements. You will learn important terminologies such as degree of freedom, repeatability, and workspace. Slides with full explanations will be printed for every participant.
Day 2 you will have a full day of hands-on practice, to learn how to set up a desktop robot and later deploy it (on a conveyor belt) to perform a simple task. You will be guided step by step by our engineer(s).
Day 3 is assessment day. There will be both theory and practical assessments.
What You'll Learn
It is also a great program for organizations that want to introduce robotics to their mature employees.
