At the end of this course, you will be able to conduct checks in accordance with work plans and instructions, so as to support organisational workplace safety and health.

- Adhere to WSH policy and procedures.
- Assist in the conduct of compliance inspections within work area.
- Identify non-compliances, unsafe work conditions and practices.
- Communicate the risks and control measures to the relevant stakeholders.
- Identify personal protective equipment requirements and safety device required for safe operations of tools and equipment at the workplace in accordance with the organisational procedures.
- Follow safety signs, instructions and workplace risk control measures in accordance with the organisational procedures.
- Interpret safety signs and hazard symbols.

Entry Requirements
- 21 years and above.
- Speak, listen and read English at Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3, and manipulate numbers at Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3.
- Never attended school.
- With the interest to be employed in in the food services industry or to venture into the industry.
