This certificate aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to resolve complex data-scientific problems in various biomedical and healthcare sectors, and skills to communicate insights gained using various analytical tools. Data science is an emerging field that involves the use of novel mathematical and statistical tools to collect and analyse large datasets to derive insights that facilitate decision-making.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should possess at least a local diploma qualification or equivalent in Life Science, Health Sciences or Biomedical Engineering from recognised institution.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
