About This Course

Upon completion of the course, graduates would be able to:
(a) Operate and optimise environmental and utility installations for the environment and water industry and the manufacturing industry;
(b) Effectively manage urban waste in Singapore and improve the environmental performance of an organisation via environmental management systems such as 1$014001;
(c) Manage energy issues in plants such as high energy consumption equipment including boilers, heat exchangers, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

What You'll Learn

The course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to support the continued growth of environmental care in Singapore in the areas of air, water and solid waste pollution control and management, as well as the new sustainable economy, particularly in the areas of energy management and sustainability.

Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for Academic CET is a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/ Technical Engineer Oiploma / Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Science, Technical, Engineering, Maths (STEM) or equivalent; or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; or a Post-Secondary Certificate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
