About This Course
The course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to support the continued growth of environmental care in Singapore in the areas of air, water and solid waste pollution control and management, as well as the new sustainable economy, particularly in the areas of energy management and sustainability.
What You'll Learn
The Post-Diploma Certificate (PDC) in Environmental Technology covers water treatment methods for wastewater, potable water and industry-spec water, as well as urban waste management and how environmental management system can drive continual improvement in environmental performance. Novel ways of treating water and wastewater, as well as urban waste treatment and recycling in addition to traditional municipal waste treatment are also included.
Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement for Academic CET is a Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/ Technical Engineer Oiploma / Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Science, Technical, Engineering, Maths (STEM) or equivalent; or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; or a Post-Secondary Certificate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
