About This Course
The course equips learners with practical knowledge of nature-based solutions and their role in addressing climate change, biodiversity loss and sustainability challenges. The course explores globally recognised frameworks, including the IUCN Global Standard for Nature-Based Solutions and Science-Based Targets for Nature, and their application across business and industry. Learners will develop competencies in evaluating ecosystem-based strategies, assessing nature-related risks and opportunities, and integrating such solutions into sustainability planning and decision-making. Relevant to sectors such as urban development, infrastructure, water management, finance and consulting, the course prepares professionals for roles in sustainability management, ESG strategy, environmental planning and corporate sustainability.
As this micro-credential course is only offered in the FlexiMasters in Sustainability Business Ecosystems programme, learners are required to enrol into the programme and complete all required courses within this programme.
