About This Course

The aim of DBP(SM) is to equip working professionals from various sectors interested to work in sustainability-related job roles or deepening their knowledge in sustainability management, ESG reporting, sustainable finance and sustainable communications and engagement to support the growing demand in the green job functions.

What You'll Learn

This MC equips students with essential skills and knowledge to engage stakeholders effectively and integrate sustainability into media, communication, and marketing practices. Students learn approaches for community engagement, relationship-building, and conflict management. They explore how media and communication shape sustainability perspectives and develop their own ethical communication practices. With insights into responsible marketing approaches, students align values with marketing strategies, leveraging sustainability for brand loyalty. This prepares students to drive meaningful engagement, shape sustainable narratives, and contribute to positive social and environmental change.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum of 3 ‘O’ Level passes and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC with GPA ≥ 3.5 OR GPA ≥ 3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Higher NITEC ≥ 2.0 OR GPA ≥ 1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC in Services/Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR
• Higher NITEC in Services/Technology ≥ 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Relevant WSQ qualification with 1 year of relevant work experience and WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy SOA (Level 6) OR
• Without relevant academic qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
