About This Course
This classroom-based training course will equip learners with the
competencies to provide skills outlined by Singapore Resuscitation and First
Aid Council (SRFAC) in the BCLS+AED Provider Course.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the course, learners should be able to:
• Explain the duties and responsibilities of a BCLS + AED provider
• Perform CPR effectively on adult and infant unconscious casualties
• Use an AED effectively on adult unconscious casualties
• Perform the relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO) effectively on adult
and infant conscious and unconscious casualties
• Manage a medical emergency
• Explain the duties and responsibilities of a BCLS + AED provider
• Perform CPR effectively on adult and infant unconscious casualties
• Use an AED effectively on adult unconscious casualties

Entry Requirements
- Physically able to kneel on the ground and perform effective chest compressions.
- Able to follow verbal instructions and participate in hands-on practice
