Career Transition into Healthcare Sector (Part of SCTP)
About This Course
This course introduces participants to the foundational mindsets and practical skills needed to transition into administrative roles within Singapore’s healthcare sector. It covers how psychological insights and team‑dynamics frameworks can strengthen self‑awareness and collaboration, while also examining the role of resilience in adapting to personal and organisational change. Participants will explore different types of change through models such as William Bridges’ Transition Model and consider how rapid workplace shifts—particularly the rise of AI—shape career pathways. The course also provides practical guidance on using generative AI tools to support job search efforts, including analysing job descriptions, tailoring applications, and preparing for interviews for administrative positions in hospitals and polyclinics. By integrating these elements, the course offers a clear understanding of sector expectations and opportunities, equipping learners for a confident transition into healthcare administration.
