Population Health (Part of SCTP)
About This Course
This course introduces participants to the foundational concepts and policy frameworks that guide population health in Singapore. Participants will learn how population health is defined and explore associated concepts such as population segmentation, targeted interventions, and approaches to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The course also provides an overview of Singapore’s population‑health policies, including national initiatives that aim to improve health outcomes across different groups. In addition, participants will examine SingHealth’s population‑health approach and programmes, gaining insight into how health systems translate policy into practice through community‑based and preventive‑care strategies. Through these discussions, learners will develop a clearer understanding of how population‑level efforts support healthier communities.
This course is part of the 3‑month (SCTP) Certificate in Healthcare Administration.
