Healthcare System Applied Project (Part of SCTP)
About This Course
This course equips participants with the practical capabilities required to support clinical teams by addressing non‑clinical challenges in healthcare settings. Participants will examine the roles and responsibilities of healthcare support and administrative staff in Singapore, and understand how these functions contribute to safe, coordinated, and efficient care delivery. The course guides participants through structured problem‑solving and decision‑making processes commonly used in healthcare, with a focus on recognising issues, prioritising actions, and communicating effectively in fast‑paced environments. Participants will also learn to use the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) framework as a structured communication tool to present issues clearly and support timely, effective problem resolution. Through these applied competencies, participants will be better prepared to navigate real‑world operational challenges and contribute meaningfully to the Singapore healthcare sector.
This course is part of the 3‑month (SCTP) Certificate in Healthcare Administration.
