About This Course
This course introduces learners to the art and craft of simultaneous live video capture using multiple cameras. Learners will learn the tasks, equipment and documentation required to produce a programme with multiple cameras and acquire skills and techniques for operating video cameras, video switchers and streaming systems.
What You'll Learn
Develop a versatile skill set in multi-camera operation that includes identifying roles, camera positions, equipment features, and configurations for proficient operation and technical compliance. Communication techniques, employing abbreviations and cues to foster seamless collaboration in multi-camera productions. Analysis of shot plans and picture composition to suit diverse production styles and technical specifications. Acquire hands-on experience in operating multi-camera equipment with controlled movement and cinematography techniques, aiming to enhance visual storytelling. Proper procedures to dismantle and store camera equipment after use, ensuring responsible and efficient management of resources.
Entry Requirements
• 18 years old and above
• Minimum Secondary Level and/or able to read, write, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 4
• Minimum 1 month of working experience
• Be motivated to learn
