WSQ Patient Care Delivery in Nursing (L3)
About This Course
This is a 3-day programme aiming to equip learners with necessary knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care according to plan of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes by carrying out the prescribed plans of care.
Step-by-Step sequencing process was adopted to sequence the Learning Units:
Prior to attending the face-to-face class, learners will be required to complete 5 hours of asynchronous e-learning covering an introductory for the selected LUs so that they will be well-prepared when coming in to class.

2.. Clinical practice guidelines / pathway and types of assessment tools
3. Psychiatric and mental health condition
4. Geriatric and palliative care
5. Common disease-specific to nursing care
6. Nursing diagnosis nursing care plans and discharge procedures
7. Monitoring the performance of junior staff
What You'll Learn
2. Assist in comprehensive health assessment in accordance with evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and/or clinical pathways and the principles of nursing health assessment
3. Monitor the progress of patient with Psychiatric and mental health conditions and report any changes in conditions to trained staff
4. Assist with prescribed investigations, procedures and treatments for patient with psychiatric and mental health condition
5. Monitor the progress of the Geriatic and Palliative care patients and report any changes in conditions to trained staff
6. Support in monitoring compliance with infection prevention and control practices
7. Implement nursing interventions and assist in the evaluation of nursing care plan.
8. Support trained nurses in monitoring performance of junior staff in delegated patient care activities by communicating effectively with nursing and healthcare teams
