About This Course
This course teaches the theory and practical skills for designing authentic assessments. It covers conceptualizations of authenticity, principles for designing quality authentic assessments, and the role of authentic assessments in Singapore's education system. Learners will critically appraise related literature and by the end of the course, they will be able to recognise how quality authentic assessments look like and develop authentic assessments, including the related rubrics, that will enhance their students’ learning.
