About This Course
This course aims to empower learners to use digital and media technologies effectively for enhanced learning opportunities. It introduces concepts of new media and learning, focusing on media "prosumption" (creation and consumption). Learners will engage in creating and critically evaluating media content, considering design principles crucial for 21st-century learning environments. Through designing a new media project, learners will get to reflect upon and form their personal critique on the relationship between new media and 21st century learning for their refined practices. Designed for educators, the course supports understanding and critical assessment of media use, along with designing media content for classroom applications.
