Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1) Know the common digital communication apps, their logos, uses and features
2) Set up an account and manage settings
3) Know the importance of security and secure your accounts using strong password and authentication where applicable
4) Save, retrieve, edit and delete contacts
5) Create, reply, and send text messages to individual and group recipients
6) Communicate with others using audio and video tools
7) Share attachments like photos, videos or documents to individual and group recipients
8) Know the risk, identify common signs of scams, inappropriate and malicious content and take actions against them
What You'll Learn
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will gain a better understanding on how messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or WeChat works. They will also understand the basic framework in adding contacts, messaging management and content sharing.Participants will also get to learn how to protect themselves from possible scams and proper chat etiquette.
