About This Course
本课程主要是学前儿童创造性与表现性艺术一视觉艺术(简称美术)是指学龄前儿童从事的造型艺术活动和视觉欣赏活动。它是幼儿认识和把握世界的形象反映，是幼儿心理发展特点的感性表现，是幼儿表达情感和交流思想的工具。美术活动对幼儿的发展具有重要的教育功能。
作为教育者，要掌握与视觉艺术相关的基本概念和要素，深入了解幼儿的美术造型和欣赏活动的发展规律，充分认识美术教育对幼儿的重要性。在教育活动中，教师应尊重和遵循儿童发展的一般特点和个别差异，促进多元文化背景中幼儿的发展。教师应根据学前美术教育的不同内容，在分析相关教育理论和思想的基础上，生成促迸幼儿美术能力及创造性发展的适宜教学策略。

Entry Requirements
Local Qualifications
• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits, including a credit at least C6 in CL1* OR
• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits and Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives*
Foreign Qualifications
• 10 years of formal education in Chinese and passed state exam with credits in 5 different subjects including a credit at least a C6* in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives* OR
• 10 years of formal education not in Chinese and passed state exam with credits in 5 different subjects and at least a B4 in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives* OR
• Degree with Chinese as medium of instruction from state recognized university+ OR
• Degree not in Chinese as the medium of instruction from state-recognized university+ and at least a B4 in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives*
