Macrame is not just the art of creative knotting to produce unique handmade jewellery and beautiful decorative items. It is a great craft for seniors as tying knots can increase fine motor skills and dexterity. It is also a good exercise for those with joint or muscle pain in their hands and fingers � something seniors are more prone to. This workshop promotes not just the creative spirit, but good hand and finger mobility too.
