Evaluation Models and Methods (Classroom and Asynchronous E-Learning)
About This Course
Programme evaluation is important for instructional design, training and development. It helps to determine the merit and worth of an instructional package and identify the strengths and areas for improvement to assist decision making and programme development. The course aims to help learners achieve a level of basic knowledge and skills in the application of acceptable and efficient models to the evaluation of programs. Learners will be exposed to the different evaluation models and their respective strengths and limitations. They will also be involved in designing an evaluation plan based on the appropriate applications of evaluation models and methods. Learners will be equipped with the skills to design instruments for evaluation as well.
What You'll Learn
-Apply an appropriate evaluation model to the context.
- determine a suitable evaluation process, design the instrument, collect relevant data, analyse the data qualitatively and quantitatively and report on the evaluation outcomes
Entry Requirements
Learners who are involved in Continuing Education and Training, or other relevant training experiences in various industries and/or in adult education will find this FlexiMasters in Instructional Design (E-learning) useful. As this FlexiMasters is stackable towards the Master of Arts (Instructional Design and Technology), learners without a university degree may find the course contents challenging.
