What You'll Learn
The Singapore Coach Excellence (SG-Coach) Level 1 Theory Programme is an enhanced training and development pathway for all coaches in the community, clubs or high performance sport programmes. The aim is to establish a training and development system to develop high quality and professional coaches.
This is part of the greater effort to enhance the professionalism and recognition of coaches in Singapore, as this development lays the foundation for further progression of the sport as the coaches’ trainees mature into youth and adult athletes. Acquiring the SG-Coach Level 1 Theory certification is also the first step towards being a professional coach registered with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC).
This is part of the greater effort to enhance the professionalism and recognition of coaches in Singapore, as this development lays the foundation for further progression of the sport as the coaches’ trainees mature into youth and adult athletes.
