Caregivers are often caught in a dilemma during daunting scenarios where they are unsure if their care recipient require urgent medical attention or where they are unsure if they are able to safely leave their care recipient alone for a while to have a short break. This course will train and develop able-bodied caregivers to provide care and therapy catered to the Elderly.
This course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of elderly care, covering theoretical knowledge, practical caregiving skills, communication strategies, and self-care techniques for caregivers. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on training, case studies, and discussions, participants will gain insights into the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of caring for the elderly.
