About This Course
The Higher Nitec in Technology – AI Applications aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge in identifying and translating business needs into AI requirements, perform data preparation and analysis, as well as support the development of AI solutions to enhance efficiency in business operations. The AI solutions and technologies are focused in the areas of data, natural language processing and computer vision. Students also have to carry out the tasks by following the required AI ethics.

3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-8 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-7 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional);
(iii) Grade 1-8 in one of the approved subjects: Biology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Combined Science / Computer Studies / Design & Technology / Engineering Science / Fundamentals of Electronics / Human & Social Biology / Integrated Science / Physical Science / Physics / Science (Chemistry/Biology) / Science (Physics/Biology) / Science (Physics/Chemistry) / Science (Physics/Biology/Chemistry).
OR
Nitec in Technology qualifications; or
Nitec qualifications (Technical Skills); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience.
