本能力单元描述展示和维护保育能力的中心的愿景、使命和价值观。通过掌握专业日常实践理论由此阐述学前教育中心的向社会各利益相关者所传达的教育价值观,确保托幼中心具有正确的愿景、使命和价值观。随着新加坡学前教育的发展以及学前教育机构的普遍化,了解新加坡学前教育的发展史,以及了解新加坡社会的发展和学前教育的目标与模式,将有助于学员在学前教育的领域中,扮演更具效能的引导角色。

本单元使学员具备如下技能:
 理解并掌握新加坡托幼中心的愿景、使命及价值观
 理解并掌握新加坡学前教育指导思想及课程框架
 理解并掌握正确的近现代学前教育思想及理论
 理解并掌握在日常工作实践中如何执行正确的学前教育的愿景、使命及价值观
 理解并掌握在教育实践中结合正确教育理念实习托幼中心的愿景、使命及价值观

学习目标
 明确婴幼儿教育的愿景、使命及价值观,由此内化到教师的日常工作中。
 在日常工作中始终贯彻正确的教育使命及教育价值观。
 明确正确的职业道德对实现教育愿景、使命及价值观的重要性。
 通过学习树立正确的教育理念由此更好地实现教育使命及价值观。
 通过不断学习及研究使个人的教育理念与托幼中心的愿景、使命及价值观相匹配由此更好地完成教师的日常工作。

Entry Requirements

Local Qualifications
• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits, including a credit at least C6 in CL1* OR
• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits and Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives*
Foreign Qualifications
• 10 years of formal education in Chinese and passed state exam with credits in 5 different subjects including a credit at least a C6* in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives* OR
• 10 years of formal education not in Chinese and passed state exam with credits in 5 different subjects and at least a B4 in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives* OR
• Degree with Chinese as medium of instruction from state recognized university+ OR
• Degree not in Chinese as the medium of instruction from state-recognized university+ and at least a B4 in GCE ‘O’ level CL1 or Chinese Language Acceptable Alternatives*
