The HoPE programme is targetted primarily at healthcare professionals and is aimed at equipping them in the primary care environment with the knowledge and skillsets relevant to the local culture and context to meet the growing needs for palliative care professionals.
What You'll Learn
The Holistic Palliative Care (HoPE) programme, developed by LKCMedicine in partnership with the National Healthcare Group, is designed primarily for healthcare professionals who are interested to upgrade their skills and capabilities in palliative care. The programme will also be open to non-healthcare professionals who meet the minimum entry requirement. The programme is designed to be stackable, so that participants will graduate with a Graduate Certificate (9AU), then FlexiMasters (9AU + 6AU) and finally a Master of Science in Holistic Palliative Care (9 AU + 6 AU + 15 AU). Candidature starts once student is enrolled into the Graduate Certificate in HoPE. Maximum candidature is two years for both Graduate Certificate and FlexiMasters in HoPE. Maximum candidature for the entire pathway from Graduate Certificate, FlexiMasters and MSc in HoPE is seven years.
Entry Requirements
1. Applicants with a FlexiMasters in HoPE; and
2. Candidature for the HoPE programme to date is not more than four years
