Sustainable and Resilient Data Centres
About This Course
Escalating energy costs and limited power availability in key data centre marketplaces have brought increasing pressure to meet sustainability legislations and to reduce enterprise’s carbon footprint. The 5-day advanced course on sustainable and resilient data centres aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of sustainable and resilient data centres, including their design, construction, and operation. The course will cover key sustainability principles, energy efficiency strategies, green building standards, emerging cooling technologies, innovative power infrastructure and computing solutions that can be used to improve the sustainability of data centres. The course also covers resilience in data centres for business continuity and minimizing downtime. Resilient data centres are designed and operated to withstand various disruptions, including power outages, natural disasters, or hardware failures, without compromising the availability of services.
What You'll Learn
• To enable participants to design, build, and operate sustainable data centres using best practices and emerging technologies.
• To enable participants to evaluate, assess and identify potential risks for sustainable and resilient operation of data centres
• To equip participants with knowledge and skills required to evaluate and optimize the energy efficiency of data centres, including calculation of performance metrics.
• To empower participants to assess and implement green building standards and certifications for data centres.
• To enable participants to identify and address environmental challenges associated with data centre operation.
Entry Requirements
