About This Course

Through the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. appreciate the various techniques of root canal obturation
2. apply the use of obturation material and equipment in safe and efficient manners
3. appreciate the various principles of direct and indirect foundation restorations
4. will have sufficient understanding of restorative spiral, and need for conservative dentistry
5. will be familiar with the indications and contra-indications of the various direct foundation restorations
6. will be familiar with the indications and contra-indications of the various indirect foundation restorations
7. will be able to prepare, and assess quality of fit of foundation restorations
8. will be familiar with the indication and contra-indication of the various extra-coronal restorations for cuspal protection
9. will be able to prepare, and provisionalise the different types of cuspal protection restorations

This course enables the oral healthcare professionals to provide appropriate care to allow patients to retain their teeth in function.
