About This Course
This training has been developed to assist organizations and individuals in improving the sustainability of their event-related activities. Events are often high-profile and temporary in nature, with both positive and negative social, economic, and environmental impacts.
Learners will learn how to acknowledge their impact on society and consider society’s expectations of events. The training will enable learners to enhance their processes and approaches to drive continuous improvement, while allowing flexibility and creativity in how events are delivered, without compromising the event’s purpose. The training is structured to support sustainability management throughout the entire event lifecycle.
Learners will also learn how to conduct an internal audit of their event sustainability management systems, which is a requirement for certification.
