The Forklift Operator Refresher Training is a mandatory course designed for individuals involved in forklift operations, aiming to update and reinforce their knowledge and skills. Safety Rules (Do’s and Don’ts)
Practical Training:
1. Inspect forklift machine
1.1 Check forklift in accordance with relevant standards relating to forklift operations, and organizational procedures
2. Carry out forklift operations
2.1 Park forklift properly, after completion of work, at designated area in accordance with workplace safety and health code of practice relating to forklift operations and organisational procedures (2 mins)
2.2 Maneuvering with and without load in accordance with relevant standards to forklift operations (3 mins)
2.3 Load and unload pallets into racking system safely in accordance with workplace safety and health code of practice relating to forklift operations and organizational procedures. (6 mins)
3. Reinstate and handover forklift
3.1 Complete reinstatement and hand over forklift in accordance with organisational procedures
3.2 Return key to appropriate person upon completion of work in accordance with organisational procedures.
Entry Requirements
Must have completed “Operate Forklift” more than 3 years ago at least aged 18
- be able to interpret work instructions and technical information
- be able to listen, speak, read and write English, and be able to process numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3, or PSLE qualification.
