Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Know the application of the photovoltaic (PV) system
• Understand the procedures in application, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of the Grid-Tied PV System
• Understand the maintenance requirements of Grid-Tied PV System
• Gain knowledge of legislative requirements and Code of Practices applicable to Grid-Tied PV System
What You'll Learn
Application process for installation of Grid-Tied PV Systems in:
o Licensed Installation
o Unlicensed Installation
• Technical requirements (including both A.C. and D.C. wiring and connection) for installation
• Preparation of power quality (PQ) assessment of the Grid-Tied PV Systems and submission of PQ compliance report, documents and drawings, as required by SP PowerGrid
• Metering requirements for the new rooftop rental model and solar leasing model for consumers receiving 22kV supply
• Inspection, testing and commissioning of Grid-Tied PV Systems
• Demonstration through mock-up system of essential components, cabling and installation method
• Maintenance requirements
• Case studies
