About This Course
1. This course in musculoskeletal ultrasound will benefit Allied health professionals, particularly the Diagnostic Radiographers and sonographers who work with sophisticated medical imaging equipment and a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the body.
2. It will focus on indications, anatomy, scanning techniques, normal and abnormal findings in ultrasound examination.
3. The use of ultrasound images will deepskill the radiography healthcare team in providing clear and accurate examination of muscuskeletal structures for diagnosis of illnesses or injuries.
What You'll Learn
On completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
1. Recognise and describe the normal and abnormal ultrasound anatomy of the lower and upper limb musculoskeletal structures.
2. Describe the scanning technique/imaging protocol required to produce good images with diagnostic quality
3. Deepen understanding on the significance of lab and clinical tests, supplementary imaging modalities for diseases related to musculoskeletal
4. Be familiar with the common indications, sonographic anatomy, normal and abnormal findings of the lower and upper limb musculoskeletal structures.
