About This Course
This course gives accounting professionals a basic understanding of Generative AI capabilities and provides them with hands-on skills that will be useful in their day-to-day work unique to the accounting profession related to General Accounting, Financial Accounting and Management Accounting functions.
What You'll Learn
This course aims to equip participants with the enhanced skills to leverage on Generative AI to perform knowledge work related to typical Accounting functions in any organisation like bank reconciliation, budgeting, calculating and analysing financial ratios. They will learn how to achieve this through synchronous lessons with hands-on sessions on Generative AI software such as ChatGPT. Instructors with accounting experience can coach participants given their common background and point out Generative AI’s limitations. It will also cover Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA)’s whitepaper on AI. Participants can bring in their own relevant use cases for guidance from instructors.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:-
- Apply Generative AI on use cases or work scenarios as discussed in the course .
- Identify internal processes suitable at work upon which Gen AI can be applied.
- Develop Generative AI prompts for accounting processes.
