About This Course

Understand the emerging contexts and applications of sustainability, especially Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and climate change arenas.

Sustainability has become a vital foundation for many businesses and organisations, including listed companies, small and medium enterprises, social enterprises and public agencies. Stakeholders in all spheres are requiring the leaderships to be responsible to the community and society at large as well as to contribute to sustainable development. More recently and critically, there is an intensive attention on the ESG pillars of sustainability and on the implications of climate change.

Through this course, you will learn how to integrate ESG considerations into your strategic and operational decision-making processes. Learners will be equipped with the principles of sustainability and evaluate their importance to design plans for long-term business success and societal impact by ensuring environmental and social considerations are integrated into the organization. It will also equip participants with the knowledge and tools such as New Economy Models (Circular Economy, Doughnut Economy etc.) and will focus on strategies that learners can use to approach decarbonisation of their organisation.
