About This Course

The maritime industry is undergoing a significant transition towards sustainable practices, with alternative fuels such as methanol and ammonia emerging as key options. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles, calculations, and practical applications involved in designing terminals for these future sustainable marine fuels as well as a treatment on other alternatives such as hydrogen/hydrogen-carriers.

This four-day program is tailored for professionals seeking to develop their skills in terminal design, covering all critical aspects, from techno-economic landscaping and hazard analysis, to piping, bunkering, and storage design. The course also incorporates lessons learned from past incidents to ensure robust and safe design considerations.

Participants will gain the ability to identify design-related requirements and safety considerations to shape options for storage of alternative fuels at ports for bunkering / related applications.
