WSQ Cloud security (SF) (Classroom and Asynchronous E-Learning)
About This Course
The Cloud Security module provides a dual-track learning pathway aligned with Microsoft’s AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies and EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification. Learners can choose a track based on their professional goals—focusing either on securing Microsoft Azure environments or mastering ethical hacking techniques in cloud contexts.
The Microsoft Track equips learners with critical competencies in managing identity and access, implementing platform protection, securing data and applications, and managing security operations within Azure. Through hands-on labs and projects, participants develop the ability to configure advanced network security, implement key vaults, and apply layered protection strategies—preparing them to defend cloud environments effectively.
The EC-Council Track provides a comprehensive foundation in cloud security from a penetration testing and ethical hacking perspective. Learners will explore the security challenges across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, understand shared responsibility frameworks, and analyze cloud-specific threats like insecure APIs and data breaches. With practical labs and real-world scenarios, they’ll gain skills in securing virtual infrastructures, managing access, and applying encryption techniques.
Upon completion, learners will be well-equipped to assess risks, implement security measures, and manage secure cloud operations—positioning themselves for roles such as Cloud Security Engineer, Analyst, or Ethical Hacker.
