About This Course
This entry-level course focuses on introducing participants to the various techniques, tools, and equipment used in horizontal surface maintenance. It provides a hands-on approach to understanding the key aspects of floor care and surface repair, aiming to develop participants’ skills to carry out routine maintenance and repairs effectively.
What You'll Learn
1-Prepare for cleaning activities through the assembly and use of assigned tools, supplies, allocated PPE and appropriate safety signages.
2-Clean, vacuum and mop hard floor surfaces and/or carpets according to organisational procedures.
3-Comply with the requirements of Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulation 39.
4-Reinstate work area by collecting & disposing wastes and replenishing consumable cleaning supplies.
5-Report discrepancies in work activities to the supervisor.
