About This Course

By the end of the day, participants will be familiar with different ways of formulating cases and identifying targets for intervention. Session 2: Use of Self (Reflective Practice) in Correction WorkThis course aims to build awareness and confidence in the participant as a professional, by teaching them how to create a "space" in their work to safely explore and process the difficult emotions and situations they might have encountered. When they can do so effectively and appropriately, it will increase their self-confidence and reduce the feeling of burn-out when engaging in their work.
