About This Course

This module builds towards the overarching SCTP and it helps learners to pick up Smart and Sustainable Facilities Management skills which are essential skills listed in the Facilities Management Job Transformation Map. These are essential skills to help the FM industry digitalisation and automation drives.

What You'll Learn

After completing this module, learners will gain the knowledge and skills to assist the Fire Safety Manager. Learners will learn the requirements of the fire safety regulations in the management of fire safety activities and preventive measures. This will enable the promotion of fire safety awareness among building occupants and ensure that the fire safety measures in facilities and buildings are manage well. In view of the importance of Workplace Safety & Health Management, learners will be taught how to do risk management to ensure the safety of the facilities’ users, vendors and suppliers.

Entry Requirements

The following GCE ‘O’ Level grades and with at least 1 year of working experience:
– English Language (Grade 1-7)
– Mathematics (Grade 1-6)
– Science (Grade 1-6)
OR NITEC with GPA >= 3.5
OR NITEC with GPA >= 3.0 and with at least 1 year of working experience
OR Higher NITEC with GPA >= 2.0
OR Higher NITEC with GPA >= 1.5 and with at least 1 year of working experience
OR NITEC in Technology or Services with GPA >= 3.5 and with at least 1 year of working experience
OR Higher NITEC in Technology or Services with GPA >=2.0 and with at least 1 year of working experience
