About This Course
Participants will gain a good understanding of European Data Protection Principles and Regulations, understand European Regulatory Institutions and Legislative Framework, learn practices to compliance with European Data Protection Law and Regulation, and hot topics such as International Data Transfers.
What You'll Learn
This course is designed to explain in depth the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). GDPR is considered the "gold standard" in data protection laws. Many organizations, especially MNC and large organizations need to comply with GDPR. This course equipped personnels with data protection responsibilities, such as Data Protection Officer (DPO), legal counsel, risk and compliance managers, internal auditors, to help the organizations in meeting data protection obligations and gain consumer's trust.
Entry Requirements
a) A level or above
b) Basic knowledge of data protection principles preferred but not mandatory. Basic data protection knowledge can be acquired through courses such as Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) fundamentals of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
c) two years or more working experience would be preferred but not mandatory
