Physics A
About This Course
In this course, learners will develop the physical intuition and analytical skills essential for studying physical systems and solving problems in mechanics, thermal physics, and electricity and magnetism. Learners will explore the principles of impulse and momentum, work and energy, and thermal physics. Additionally, the course will cover electric and magnetic fields, the motion of charged particles and their applications, and fundamental circuit concepts. The knowledge gained will serve as a foundation for higher-level courses and is critical in the engineering profession. Learners will acquire key competencies such as analysing physics and solving problems related to everyday phenomena. They will apply these skills to address common issues in engineering fields, including mechanical systems, electric and magnetic phenomena, and thermal properties of matter. By mastering these foundational concepts, learners will be better prepared to tackle challenges in future engineering coursework.
