About This Course
"The Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) provides participants with a strong foundation in Electrical and Electronic (EE) Engineering and emerging skillsets in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualisation and Analytics that will equip them for the diverse and dynamic EE industry.
This unique programme offers two specialisation tracks in specific fields of Electronic Communications and Microelectronics. These are high value-adding sectors in the EE industry with strong demand for skilled and trained professionals.
What You'll Learn
This module is an introduction to the topics relevant to both analog and digital communication systems. Topics include modulation techniques (AM/FM), tuned radio frequency receiver, electromagnetic wave propagation, antennas, digital sampling, multiplexing, digital modulation (PSK), source coding, channel coding and bit-error analysis.
