About This Course
"The Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) provides participants with a strong foundation in Electrical and Electronic (EE) Engineering and emerging skillsets in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualisation and Analytics that will equip them for the diverse and dynamic EE industry.
This unique programme offers two specialisation tracks in specific fields of Electronic Communications and Microelectronics. These are high value-adding sectors in the EE industry with strong demand for skilled and trained professionals.
What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip participants with a thorough understanding of Radio Access Networks (RAN) in mobile technologies. Participants will explore the principles of wireless communications, such as fading, link budget and capacity planning, and advanced diversity combining techniques like Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO). Furthermore, they will learn how to design in-building cellular networks and perform walk tests to assess signal coverage and quality.
